About us
Founded in 2017, Tanway Technology has a core team that originates fromthe State Key Laboratory of the Department of Precision Instrument, Tsing-hua University and started to engage in technology research and development of LiDAR from 2008. Successfully developing Tanway Fusion, hardware level image early-fusion product in the LiDAR industry, Tanway Technology improves the reliability and performance of multi-sensor fusion and deeply explores the application value and user value of LiDAR in the automotive field, unfolding the LiDAR3.0 era. In the meantime, Tanway Technology developed a high-performance, low cost, easy-to-mass production automotive-grade solid state LiDAR based on its fully self-developed ALS platform technology, completed the mass production and successfully delivered in 2019, with a view to attain the automotive-grade stability. With its headquarters and R&D Center in Beijing, Tanway Technology landed its Electronics R&D Center in Chengdu and launched the automotive-grade production line in Suzhou in 2021. In 2022, Tanway Technology received IATF16949 quality management system certification and co-launched the world's first LiDAR-equipped mass production MPV - V09 with HYCAN. In 2023, Tanway Technology won multiple mass production passenger car projects. In September 2023 Tanway Technology completed a new round of strategic financing led by Xiaomi Group.
